camp here at Sturtevant Pond is Mollidgewock Campground. So much exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. The snow is nice at Balsams Wilderness, and Sturtevant Pond is not the only place nearby, Bigelow Pond
is a nearby lake. High temperatures at Sturtevant Pond through the long summer days are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures
at Sturtevant Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. You could also pop by Aziscohos Pond while you're here at Sturtevant Pond; it's close by, and you can go for a hike on the Old Magalloway Trail. Sturtevant Pond
is a relatively wet place mostly with a large amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
