The beauty of Stroudwater River Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Sable Oaks Golf Club, and Cliff House Beach is a lovely beach to explore. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Blueberry Hill is trouble-free to spot from Stroudwater River Reservoir. | | Portland like to hang out close by, and on a pretty day you can check out Willard Beach. Camping at Bayley's Camping Resort is always a nice experience. Lakes are great; Capisic Pond is a lake that's near Stroudwater River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. November this area sees the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport, and there's always Stroudwater Dam to explore right next door to Stroudwater River
Reservoir. Don't forget to take a nice little spree to Long Creek, and if you came to camp A Vacationland Campground is a glorious location to do that. Summertime at Stroudwater River Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the
70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Stroudwater River Reservoir drop into the 0's. If you need
a location to stay Embassy Suites Hotel Portland is a tremendous choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Chandler Brook offers some good whitewater. Lost Valley has great slopes and a friendly staff, and you should explore Thompson Point when you're here.

I'd recommend LOTS of bug sprays as the mosquitoes tend to swarm and are very plentiful this year. If you're not a fisherman but your children are...there are picnic tables for you to enjoy a book, needlepoint, or just relax and take in the fresh air.... |
