Stockbridge Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. There are great sites to explore along the South Face Trail, and you obtain a good panorama of Big Mountain from here. Stockbridge Pond gets much water; November is the wettest month
with most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't miss out on a spree to Acadia National Park since you're here at Stockbridge Pond, and Bass Harbor Campground is a glorious local campground.
If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Stockbridge Pond. Do schedule some time to explore Back Cove near Stockbridge Pond if you have a chance; going for a hike on the Wonderland Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
