And that's not all you can do here at Stink Pond. The top of Whitman Mountain is easily made out from Stink Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Round Trail. Stink Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. There's so much to do here at Stink Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pelletier's       Campground is a good spot for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Stink Pond; Fox Brook Trail is a perfect local trail. Stink Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Little Black Check Point is a good local campground; whitewater paddling is glorious on Big Brook River. This lake is so wonderful. Fish River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; the Island Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to                  Stink Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
