Stillwater River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is University Inn Academic Suites; Penobscot River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. The high level of rainfall

Center is a nice location to spend a night or two; playing golf is lots of fun at Hidden Meadows Golf Course. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 70's at Stillwater River Reservoir. All through the moonlight
hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Stillwater River Reservoir temperatures fall to the 0's. Hiking along the Old Gold Mine Trail is
glorious fun; there are plenty of folks from Bangor here. The skiing at New Hermon Mountain is fine; if you're here you can take a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail.

 | Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.
We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
