The top of Coon Mountain is easily seen from Stevens Pond, and a day on the slopes of Camden is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on St. George River for all you adrenaline kick people; The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a delightful location to get some rest. You definitely have to have a thing about Stevens       Pond. There's wonderful hiking along the Ragged Mountain Trail, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Rockland here. Stevens Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Stevens Pond Dam near Stevens Pond is delightful, and after a long day outdoors Londonderry Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. High                  temperatures at Stevens Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Stevens Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Stevens Pond; Mount Megunticook Trail is a delightful local trail, and a scenic lake like Kingdom Bog is a great site to check out. Camping is available at Pine Ridge Campgrounds.
