If you are in Aroostook county it's always a good idea to stop by Squapan Lake. Squapan Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Clayton Brook, and you can run the rapids of Squa Pan Stream. At Squapan Lake you can distinguish Nowland Hill. | | here for a while, Mystic Acres Campground is a delightful location for that. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Squapan Lake. Go for a hike on the Webster Brook Tote Road, and Crown Park Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest. A good location for whitewater paddling right next door to Squapan Lake is St. Croix Stream. for a hike on the Old Dam Tote Road is always a wonderful adventure, and do pop by Squapan Dam while you're here. During the long summer days here at Squapan Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's with night lows in the
50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and night lows at Squapan Lake through the winter mostly drop into the-10's.
