Spruce Pond is a quite wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summertime months highs here at Spruce Pond reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime       lows all through the winter for Spruce Pond tend to be in the 0's. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Long Pond near Spruce Pond, and Windsong Campgrounds is a magnificent campground nearby. King Pine has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and the panorama of picturesque Collomy Hill is fine. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pleasant Mountain Inn; good skiing awaits you at Shawnee Peak. While you're here at Spruce Pond, you                  could also visit striking West Pond, and whitewater paddling is great on Ossipee River. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Spruce Pond. Some nearby water includes Wadsworth Brook; get wet paddling on Little Ossipee River.
