Going for a hike on the Arnolds Trail is always a nice adventure, and Blanchard Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Spring Lake. Near Spring Lake you find the Bigelow Range Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Herbert Grand Hotel. If you come at the right time of year, Little Spencer Stream offers some pleasant whitewater, and camping at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake
is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and good skiing is what you get at Saddleback.
And that's not all you can do here at Spring Lake. The Fire Warden Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Spring Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Spencer Stream. Spring Lake gets a common amount of rain; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest of the months is February. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Spring

Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Spring Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Shaw Pond since you're here at Spring Lake; it's nearby; camping is available at Deer Farms Camps and Campground. Gotta ski! Sugarloaf USA is a magnificent place to do that, and Spring Lake is not the only spot nearby, Lower Shaw Pond is a nearby lake.
