Many people like to go to Spider Lake. Through the summertime months highs here at Spider Lake reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Spider Lake tend to be in the-10's. There is a good hiking trail near Spider Lake called the Chase Carry; Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good place to get some rest. The yearly rainfall

| | here at Spider Lake is about average; most of the rain falls throughout July, and February on the other hand is the driest. Near Spider Lake you discover the Carry Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Lakes are delightful; Pleasant Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Spider Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Telephone Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Spider Lake, and soar down the rapids of Smith Brook in a kayak. You feel that's enough? | |

Just getting warmed up. This is a fine area for folks who like lakes. Leadbetter Pond is a lake around here, and if you come at the right time of year, Musquacook Stream offers some nice whitewater.
