Spider Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All through the summer months highs here at Spider Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Spider Lake all through the wintertime generally descend into the-10's. If you need a spot to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith Brook. There's wonderful hiking along the Carry Trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Musquacook Stream. This lake is so wonderful. There are good locations to explore along the Telephone Trail, and don't leave Spider Lake without first going for a hike along the Chase Carry.
