There's so much to do here at Spectacle Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset Point Campground is a great place for that. High temperatures at Spectacle Ponds during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Spectacle       Ponds through the winter regularly plunge into the 10's. You're possibly interested in lakes, Spring Hole Pond is one of those close by, and float down the rapids of Narraguagus River in a kayak. Spectacle Ponds gets much water; the month with most of the rain is November, and August on the other hand is the driest. Some of the water nearby flows, like Beaver Meadow Brook, and going for a hike on the Lead Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure.
