Go to Sowish Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Camping at Little Black Check Point is always a great experience, and there's whitewater on St. Francis River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Sowish Lake is Lakeview Campgrounds; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Yankeetuladi Brook. | | hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's; night lows in the-10's for Sowish Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Falls Brook, and the Rocky Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Sowish Lake is a good place of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
