    A visit to South Pond is always a good idea. Having a delightful time at South Pond is trouble-free. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Abram. South Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. During the warm days of summer at South Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at South  
   Pond are in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Alder River South Branch Reservoir is close to South Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything South Pond has to offer, you can camp at Stony Brook Rec. and Camping. Looking for something near South Pond? North Pond is in the vicinity; you can go for a hike on the Albany Notch Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in close proximity to South Pond will keep you coming back
 
               over and over. South Pond is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Littlefield Beaches Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and you don’t have to go far from South Pond to spot the water at South Branch Dam.
Having a great time in the White Mountains is simple. No need to travel far to pop by attention-grabbing stuff like Bucks Ledge, and if you need a place to stay The Bethel Inn Resort is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Crooked River close to South Pond, and here at South Pond you can see Mount Christopher. South Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
There's whitewater on Little Androscoggin River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; there are delightful locations to explore along the Albany Mountain Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Visit McCrillian Brook if you're here at South Pond; going for a hike on the Albany Brook Trail is always a glorious adventure. Dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn; the snow is great at Black Mountain.
