All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at South Pond. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Albany Brook Trail; if you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous North Pond. This lake       is so wonderful. McCrillian Brook is in close proximity to South Pond and is always a delight to stop at; Mount Abram is a magnificent local ski area. So many cool things to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. Camping is available at Littlefield Beaches Campground, and The Perennial Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. South Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; of all the months                  in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The Albany Notch Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not stop at South Branch Dam since you're here. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Crooked River is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of South Pond. What would a site like South Pond be without exciting nearby marks like Bucks Ledge; why not camp at Stony Brook Rec. and Camping if you're here at South Pond. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do close to South Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around South Pond; Albany Mountain Trail is a magnificent local trail; you can run the rapids of Little Androscoggin River. Alder River South Branch Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and here at South Pond you can distinguish Mount Christopher.
