The beauty of South Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Brook Trail. The annual precipitation here at South Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the White Mountains. A brilliant spot to camp here at South Pond

 | Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
