Summertime highs at South Boundary Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at South Boundary Pond temperatures dip to the-10's. Don't leave South Boundary Pond without first going for a hike along the Morrell Trail, and paddling on Dead River       - North Branch is so much fun. Going for a hike on the Arnold Trail is always a delightful adventure; camping at Cathedral Pines Camping Area is always a glorious experience. The high level of rain makes South Boundary Pond a reasonably wet place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. Having a good time at South Boundary Pond is painless. This is a brilliant region for people who like lakes. L Pond                  is a lake close at hand, and a brilliant site to camp here at South Boundary Pond is Cupsuptic Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Beaver Pond Dam to explore next to South Boundary Pond; whitewater paddling is fine on Kennebago River.
