     The beauty of Soule Pond attracts many people from all around. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Soule Pond has to offer, you can camp at South Branch Pond Campground; do put some time aside to spend at Millinocket Falls if you're here at Soule Pond. Near Soule Pond you hit upon the Matagamon Tote Road which is a nice hiking trail; not far from Soule Pond you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Millinocket Lake Dam. There's whitewater on  
   Millinocket Stream for all you adrenaline people, and the Millinocket Lake Tote Road is a pleasant hiking trail close by.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Munsungan Stream in the neighborhood of Soule Pond, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road. All the outdoors exciting things near Soule Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Stay the night at Matagamon Wilderness Campground, and do visit
 
               Beaver Brook if you're here at Soule Pond. From a precipitation point of view Soule Pond is a reasonably normal site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. For the period of the summertime at Soule Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Soule Pond.
