A pretty lake like Round Pond in the vicinity of Soule Pond is a tremendous spot to explore, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Millinocket Lake Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Millinocket Lake Dam while you're here at Soule Pond. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Tilly Pond near       Soule Pond, and drift down the rapids of Munsungan Stream in a kayak. Summertime at Soule Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Soule Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a good choice, and do put some time aside to spend at Millinocket Falls if you're here                  at Soule Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Soule Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby; nearby you come across the Matagamon Tote Road which is a good hiking trail. The annual rain here at Soule Pond is about average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Any time is a good time at Soule Pond if you love the outdoors.
