Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Upper Soper Pond near Soper Pond, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater       paddling on Smith Brook. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chase Carry, and a wonderful view of pretty Allen Mountain is available. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Soper Pond. The Telephone Trail offers hiking at its best; Allagash River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by.
