    Socatean Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Dipper Pond near Socatean Pond; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because MT Kineo Golf Course is around here. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Tomhegan Pond in the vicinity of Socatean Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Old Mill Camping Area is a nice spot to camp. Yeah, come here  
   to Socatean Pond for a great time.
All through the summertime months at Socatean Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Socatean Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. The peak of Sevenmile Hill can be seen from Socatean Pond, and camping is available at Seboomook wilderness Campground. Socatean Pond gets
 
               a common amount of yearly rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
There's whitewater on Penobscot River - South Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you need a spot to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice.

My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
