This lake is so wonderful. Snowshoe Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a good local campground; some nearby water includes Batch Brook. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Snowshoe Lake Road, and a beautiful lake like Horseback       Pond is a magnificent location to visit. The amount of precipitation that falls at Snowshoe Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July; February is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Snowshoe Lake. There's so much to do here at Snowshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shin Pond Village Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and since you're here                  you can take a hike along the Matagamon Tote Road. Do stop by Hobart Pond next to Snowshoe Lake, it's a striking lake, and you should pop by Pickerel Point when you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Snowshoe Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Snowshoe Lake dip into the-10's.
