Snowshoe Lake is right by the Jerry Pond Tote Road, and don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Batch Brook. You could also explore Horseback Pond while you're here at Snowshoe Lake; it's nearby; while you're here you have to visit Pickerel Point. Snowshoe Lake is a good site of common precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February       is typically the driest month. Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a brilliant campground nearby, and Shin Brook River is a great whitewater spot close by. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Snowshoe Lake has it all. There's wonderful hiking along the Snowshoe Lake Road; if you've had enough of Snowshoe Lake, Hobart Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Snowshoe Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark                  hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows during the wintertime for Snowshoe Lake tend to be in the-10's. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Seboeis River, and Katahdin Inn is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
