    Beautiful Snowshoe Lake has much to offer visitors. Snowshoe Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a tremendous local campground, and unsurprisingly Batch Brook flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Pickerel Point in the vicinity of Snowshoe Lake is always a great idea; going for a hike along the Matagamon Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. For the period  
   of the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Snowshoe Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Snowshoe Lake.
Snowshoe Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. A great nearby hotel is Katahdin Inn. There's so much to do here at Snowshoe Lake that you need to camp
 
               here for a while, Shin Pond Village Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Hiking along the Snowshoe Lake Road is good fun; Seboeis River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by.
This location rules, just check out all the cool stuff to do in close proximity to Snowshoe Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shin Brook River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road.
