This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Snow Mountain Pond is Dead River - North Branch, and Big       Island Pond is a perfect lake nearby. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Take a hike on the Arnold Trail; Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a great campground nearby. Snow Mountain Pond is a wet spot that gets much rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
