Smith Pond is a lake worth visiting. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lang Pond, and the summit of Williams Mountain can be observed from Smith Pond. Smith Pond is right by the Sally Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a perfect place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Lang Stream, and hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail is glorious fun.
If

only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Alder Brook Trail, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Cold Stream. There's so much to do here at Smith Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Woody's Campground and Cottages is a pleasant place for that, and if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a tremendous choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's
to Smith Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Smith Pond throughout the winter typically plunge into the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Smith Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Lakes are glorious; Little Lang Pond is a lake that's near Smith Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kennebec River.
