Indian Stream is a nice local stream; a journey to Little Wilson Falls will fill your spirit with splendid feelings. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Wildwood Shores Campground is a perfect place to camp; if you've had enough of Smith Pond, Little Wilson Pond is nearby. An average       amount of rainfall falls at Smith Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Any time is a good time at Smith Pond if you love the outdoors. Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; there's great hiking along the Gulf Hagas Trail. The Intake Trail offers hiking at its best; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Wilson                  Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Smith Pond is right by the Number Four Mountain Trail. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Big Squaw, and if you need a spot to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice. High temperatures at Smith Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
