Smith Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a good place to get some rest; camping at Homestead Lodge is always a good experience. Summertime highs at Smith Pond       usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Smith Pond. So much exciting stuff to do at Smith Pond, so little time. On a perfect day at Smith Pond you can take a hike along the Snowshoe Lake Road, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Wadleigh Brook. If the weather is nice here at Smith Pond, you can go                  for a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road; while you're here, you could also visit charming Beaver Pond. There is a fine hiking trail right next door to Smith Pond called the Webster Brook Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful.
