    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Six Ponds. All through the months of summer here at Six Ponds, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; night lows all through the wintertime for Six Ponds tend to be in the-10's. Some close by water includes Annis Brook, and if you get bored of Six Ponds you could also go to nearby Long Pond. A great spot  
   to camp here at Six Ponds is Chimney Pond Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Nesowadnehunk Stream River offers some great whitewater.
The yearly precipitation here at Six Ponds is about average; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area next to Six Ponds has to offer. Snub Pitch is an interesting place to stop at while at
 
               Six Ponds, and a good sight of beautiful Russell Mountain is available. If the weather is splendid here at Six Ponds, you can go for a hike along the Wassataquoik Tote Road, and Six Ponds is not the only spot nearby, Draper Pond is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Howe, and Six Ponds is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Pond Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Katahdin Inn is a great location to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream, and going for a hike along the Old Pogy Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
