     You're most likely addicted to lakes, Myers Ponds is one of those nearby, and paddling on Mopang Stream is so much fun. The peak of Heath Hill can be seen from Silica Ponds. Silica Ponds generally gets a great deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Bar Harbor Inn; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Pleasant River.

   Silica Ponds if you adore the outdoors. Jacks Spring is an inspiring site to stop at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Silica Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Mainayr Campground is a magnificent site for that. High temperatures at Silica Ponds through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and night lows at Silica Ponds throughout  
               the winter commonly drop into the 0's. Take a side tour to Heath Brook, and swamps are interesting spots and Great Heath close to Silica Ponds is no exception.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silica Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Sunset Point Campground, and as expected, this is a nice area for folks who like lakes, Coffin Brook Pond is a lake in the neighborhood.
