Nothing beats kicking back at Schoodic Beach, and don't forget to take a splendid little visit to Martin Ridge Brook. If you came to camp Mountainview Campground is a pleasant site to do that, and if you need a spot to stay The Harborside Hotel and Marina is a great choice. | |

If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jessup Trail. Shillalah Pond is a wet location that gets much precipitation; the month of November
is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is August. After a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; Bear Point is around here and always glorious to pop by. A lake nearby
is Clark Pond, and you can run the rapids of Narraguagus River - West Branch. Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do near Shillalah Pond. Narraguagus River is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Shillalah Pond,
and tremendous hiking is available along the Bar Island Trail. Summertime highs at Shillalah Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures
through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Shillalah Pond fall into the 10's.
