If you are traveling by, why not stop by Shell Pond. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Black Mountain. An average amount of rain falls at Shell Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Shell Pond. If the weather is perfect here at Shell

| | Pond, you can go for a hike along the Stone House Trail, and Wild River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The White Mountains is excellent! The White Cairn Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Shell Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Oxford House Inn. A trip to Shell Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Deer Hill Spring, and golf can be played at Lake Kezar Country Club. This lake is so | |

wonderful. Colton Dam is a wonderful place next to Shell Pond. There's so much to do here at Shell Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cold River Campground is a good place for that.
Shell Pond is delightful enough to
spend more than a day at, Basin Pond Campground is a delightful local campground; if you're here, you could take a look at Rattlesnake Brook. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the White Mountains has to offer.
Near Shell Pond you stumble on the Blueberry Ridge Trail which is a nice hiking trail; the vista of Adams Mountain is lovely. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Sunday River; if you need
a spot to stay White Mountain Hotel and Resort is a splendid choice.
This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Paddling on Saco River - East Branch is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Little Pond is in the vicinity.
At Shell Pond during the summer months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Shell Pond descend into the 0's.
