This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sheepscot River - West Branch, and Turner Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Sheepscot Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that       rains the most; the driest of the months is February. During your tour to Sheepscot Pond you'll meet some people from Augusta-Waterville for sure; if you're here, you could also visit beautiful James Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Sheepscot Pond. Best Western Waterville Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest, and Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a wonderful campground nearby. Sheepscot Pond Dam is a picturesque place in the neighborhood                  of Sheepscot Pond, and Town Line Campsites is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Sheepscot Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Sheepscot Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's.
