of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail; getting to Allen Brook from Sennebec Pond is uncomplicated. The sight of Barrett Hill from Sennebec Pond is
beautiful; a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Oyster River. This lake is so wonderful. Sennebec Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Sennebec Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and there's great hiking along the Mount Battie Trail.
