Secret Pond is a good place of normal rain; July is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Secret       Pond has it all. The Number Four Mountain Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Secret Pond, and Salmon Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. During the long summer days at Secret Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Secret Pond tend to be in the-10's. You'll never forgive yourself                  if you don’t go skiing at Big Squaw since you're here, also Lower Wilson Pond Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here. On a good day at Secret Pond you can take a hike along the Intake Trail; Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Gulf Hagas Trail. Bingham Motor Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
