     Do take a look at Little Lane Pond next to Second Saint John Pond, it's a gorgeous lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Penobscot River - North Branch. There's whitewater on Penobscot River - South Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a beautiful lake called Robinson Pond near Second Saint John Pond,  
   and Second Saint John Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Old Mill Camping Area is a tremendous local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Second Saint John Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Second Saint John Pond drop into the-10's.
You just have to fancy Second Saint
 
               John Pond. Second Saint John Pond is a good spot of typical precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July; February on the other hand is the driest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Second Saint John Pond; Alder Brook Trail is a great local trail. There's so much to do here at Second Saint John Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a wonderful site for that.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
