Second Pond is a lake worth visiting. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Hill Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fort Knox Inn. Mill Stream Meadow is an exciting swamp in the vicinity of Second Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Second Pond has to offer, you can camp at Robin Hood Camp. If the weather is delightful, you obtain a nice sight of Stover Hill from Second Pond. Take a side visit to Carleton Stream; get soaked paddling on Blue Hill Falls. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Second Pond. There's so much to do here at Second Pond that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Sunshine Campground is a splendid place for that; drift down the rapids of Narramissic River in a kayak. An average amount of rainfall falls at Second Pond; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that
rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail, and beaches are fine and Birchhead Shore is no exception. Hiking along the Old Cove Trail is splendid fun; Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a good site to get some rest.
