If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Second Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Chase Mills Stream offers some good whitewater; some of       the water nearby flows, like Clifford Stream. Cobscook Bay State Park is a nice campground nearby; a lake nearby is Loon Lake. Second Lake mostly gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Through the summer here at Second Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with                  winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Second Lake.
