    Seboomook Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Seboomook Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a fine local campground, and Moose River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Seboomook Lake? Caribou Deadwater is in close proximity; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River -  
   West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Seboomook Lake you get some good water scenery at Seboomook Dam; you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Little Elm Pond is one of those nearby.
Carry Brook is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at; a delightful place to camp here at Seboomook Lake is Caseys Spencer Bay Campground. High temperatures at Seboomook Lake all through the summer months are in the 70's while overnight lows are
 
               generally in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Seboomook Lake through the wintertime usually plunge into the-10's. This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
