    Seboeis Deadwater is a lake worth visiting. After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Matagamon Tote Road, and Tiger Rips is an inspiring site to visit while you're here. This place, Seboeis Deadwater, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Seboeis Deadwater is Shin Brook River, and going for a hike on the  
   Jerry Pond Tote Road is always a delightful adventure.
In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Seboeis River, and camping at Umcolcus Sporting Camps is always a good experience. For the period of the summer at Seboeis Deadwater highs are commonly in the 70's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and all
 
               through the dark hours in the wintertime at Seboeis Deadwater temperatures fall to the-10's. Hay Brook is a nice local stream; nearby you find the Snowshoe Lake Road which is a magnificent hiking trail.
The yearly rainfall here at Seboeis Deadwater is about average; the month with most of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Seboeis Deadwater is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Shin Pond Village Campground is a perfect local campground, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Hobart Deadwater is right nearby.
