Seal Cove Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The scenery at Seal Cove Dam in the neighborhood of Seal Cove Pond is striking. Bass Harbor Campground is a delightful local campground, and Bald Hill can be seen from Seal Cove Pond. So many enjoyable things near Seal Cove Pond, just extraordinary. One of the best things about Seal Cove Pond is its proximity to Echo Lake Beach, and swing by Hodgdon Brook it's a splendid spot to visit.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Harbor Heights Vacation Rental is a nice site to get some rest, and the vistas at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. Having a pleasant time at Seal Cove Pond is trouble-free. Going for a hike along the South Face Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; swamps are out of the ordinary locations and Murphy Swamp close to Seal Cove Pond is no exception. is Union River. Lakes are fine; Hodgdon Pond is a lake that's close to Seal Cove Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Seal Cove Pond, you can go for a hike along the Western Mountain South Face Trail,
and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Duck Pond. After a long day outdoors The Harbour Cottage Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and you can spend the day on the beach at Cobble
Beach. On a wonderful day at Seal Cove Pond you can take a hike along the Old Spring Trail, and Clark Point is very near and is a pleasant place to check out. If you came for an overnight stay White Birches Campground is a great
location to camp; you can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Seal Cove Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter
are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Seal Cove Pond are in the 10's. The high level of rain makes Seal Cove Pond a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls through November; the driest of the months is August.

 | We went there in September, but, it seemed like an ideal, quiet place for hikers who may want to get off the beaten track on a very commercial island. The showers were clean, the sites were clean and it was not the most expensive. Forewarned, the shuttle bus doesn't go there, price to pay for remoteness.... |
