Scott Pond is a good spot of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Little Fowler Pond is a great lake right next door to Scott Pond, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on B Stream. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you       came for an overnight stay Wilde Pines Campground is a good place to camp; a glorious place for whitewater paddling is St. Croix Stream. Summer at Scott Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Scott Pond drop into the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Kennedy Tote Road; if you need a spot to                  stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a great choice. Go for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road, and a lovely lake like Carlisle Pond is a fine site to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Gulch Brook since you're here at Scott Pond; why not camp at Bear Mountain Lodge if you're here at Scott Pond. There's great hiking along the Sweets Trail, and a good close by hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton. This lake is so wonderful.
