If you want to hit the beach, Long Beach is in the vicinity; Young Hill is a peak you can spot from Scituate Pond. High temperatures at Scituate Pond through the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western York Inn; if you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Ledges Golf
Club. You'll meet a lot of people from Portland-South Portland here, and on a splendid day you can check out Braceys Swamp, a swamp in close proximity to Scituate Pond. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Scituate
Pond. Stage Neck Inn, Incorporated is a perfect location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene spots, why not stop at Briley Pond near Scituate Pond, and you can run the rapids of Atlantic Ocean. Camping
is available at York Beach Camper Park; there's whitewater on Great Works River for all you adrenaline people.
