This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Schoolhouse Pond you can play some golf at Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some good whitewater. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice, and naturally, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Round Pond is a lake nearby. People from Lewiston-Auburn love to come to       Schoolhouse Pond; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Turner Pond. Schoolhouse Pond usually gets a lot of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. At Schoolhouse Pond throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows during the                  wintertime for Schoolhouse Pond tend to be in the 0's. Gotta ski! There's so much to do here at Schoolhouse Pond that you need to camp here for a while, East Livermore Campgrounds is a delightful place for that. What would winter be without some skiing at Lost Valley, and if you came to camp Riverbend Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Schoolhouse Pond.
