Summer brings highs in the 70's to Schoolhouse Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Schoolhouse Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Schoolhouse Pond a wet place; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest       month is February. Schoolhouse Pond is not the only place close by, Round Pond is a close by lake, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Camping is available at East Livermore Campgrounds. If you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some fine whitewater, and Fayette Ridge is uncomplicated to spot from Schoolhouse Pond. A round of golf at nearby Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club is a brilliant way to kill some                  time, and why not head up to Titcomb and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.
