Schoolhouse Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Schoolhouse Pond you can play some golf at Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some good whitewater. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice, and naturally, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Round Pond is a lake nearby. to discover along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; a wonderful close by hotel is Winthrop Motel. There's so much to do here at Schoolhouse Pond that you need to camp here for a while, East Livermore Campgrounds is a delightful
place for that. What would winter be without some skiing at Lost Valley, and if you came to camp Riverbend Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here
at Schoolhouse Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wilson Stream, and from Schoolhouse Pond you obtain a wonderful sight of Fayette Ridge.
