During the summer months at Schoodic Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Schoodic Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much       to do here at Schoodic Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that; Schoodic Lake is right by the Norton Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schoodic Stream; some of the water nearby flows, like Packard Brook. There's great hiking along the Scutaze Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bangor here. Schoodic Lake is a good place of normal precipitation;                  most of the rain falls during July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Carry Trail offers hiking at its best, and Jaquith Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. So many entertaining things to do at Schoodic Lake, so little time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Schoodic Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Branch Lake Camp, and do explore Mud Pond, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.
