    Do stop by Sawyer Pond while you're in this part of Maine. This lake is so wonderful. Bingham Motor Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest. While you're here at Sawyer Pond you can take a hike along the Number Four Mountain Trail; not far from Sawyer Pond you'll find Big Wilson Stream Reservoir which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Wilson Stream, and you can have  
   a magnificent hiking adventure along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail.
Just can't get enough of Sawyer Pond. Sawyer Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and you can take a little spree to Lower Wilson Pond Dam while you're here at Sawyer Pond. At Sawyer Pond all through the warm months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime
 
               highs through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Sawyer Pond. Stay the night at Casey's Spencer Bay Campground, and if you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Squaw while you're here; hiking along the Intake Trail is tremendous fun. Sawyer Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. On a lovely day you acquire a vista of Blair Hill from Sawyer Pond; there's whitewater on Piscataquis River - East Branch for all you adrenaline people.
