There's so much to do here at Sawyer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a pleasant place for that. High temperatures at Sawyer Pond during the long summer days are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Sawyer Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. So much entertaining       stuff to do here at Sawyer Pond, too fine to be true. This is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lower Wilson Pond is a lake close by; Bingham Motor Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a magnificent choice, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Number Four Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sawyer Pond you obtain some good water scenery at Lower Wilson                  Pond Dam; why not take a refreshing hike along the Intake Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Big Wilson Stream Reservoir is near Sawyer Pond, and drift down the rapids of Big Wilson Stream in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is a tremendous spot to do that, and if you come at the right time of year, Piscataquis River - East Branch offers some magnificent whitewater. Sawyer Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July; February meanwhile is the driest month.
