Taking a little trip to close by Boody Cove is a brilliant idea, and Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a perfect local campground. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. While you're here at Sawtelle Pond, you could also take a look       at gorgeous Little Sawtelle Pond, and why not take a little tour to Jones Brook while you're here. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Sawtelle Pond; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Jones Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Here at Sawtelle Pond you can catch a sight of Cunningham Mountains; going for a hike on the Matagamon Tote Road is                  always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sawtelle Pond you come across the Millinocket Lake Tote Road which is a great hiking trail, and why not camp at Matagamon Wilderness Campground while you're here at Sawtelle Pond. Summertime highs at Sawtelle Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Sawtelle Pond.
