Why not stop by Sandy River Ponds if you're passing through these parts. So much amusing stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too great to be true. Dead River - South Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you get bored of Sandy River Ponds you could also go to nearby Haley Pond. All year is a wonderful time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Stay the night at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground, and going for a hike on

| | the Brook Trail is always a splendid adventure. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly plentiful here at Sandy River Ponds. Black Brook Cove Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and close by you hit upon the Piazza Rock Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Really fine skiing awaits you at Saddleback, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River. Sandy | |

River Ponds is a good spot of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Go for a hike on the Chimney Trail, and after
a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.
During the summer at Sandy River Ponds highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime
highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Sandy River Ponds. A round of golf at nearby Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a good way to kill some time; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Black Mountain. Sandy River Ponds is located in the White Mountains.
