If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is in close proximity to Sandy River Ponds, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Brook Cove Campground is a great spot to camp. So many entertaining things in the White Mountains, just impressive. While you're here at Sandy River Ponds you can take a hike along the       Brook Trail; Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great campground nearby. All through the summertime months at Sandy River Ponds highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Sandy River Ponds temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
