Go to Sandy River Ponds if you want to go to a nice lake. Hiking along the Chimney Trail is pleasant fun, and why not camp at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground since you're here at Sandy River Ponds. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Piazza Rock Trail, and for you golfers we recommend close by Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School. This lake is one of the great places here in the White

| | Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Sandy River Ponds is right by the Brook Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Saddleback since you're here. Camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground, and skiing at Black Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. warmed up. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. South Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sandy River. So much exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Ledge Pond, and there's whitewater on Dead River - South Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Sandy River

 | Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention.... |
