A day on the slopes of Camden is just what you need, and Sandy Pond Dam is a scenic spot, unquestionably worth taking a look at. A fine place for whitewater paddling next to Sandy Pond is Martin Stream, and Londonderry Inn is a good spot to get some rest. St. George River is a delightful whitewater spot next to Sandy Pond, and do take a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
