Sandy Bottom Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Hebron Pines Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nezinscot River. So many fun things in close proximity to Sandy Bottom Pond, absolutely striking. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge       Auburn is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Mud Pond. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a good panorama of Gauthier Hill from Sandy Bottom Pond, and of course Meadow Brook is a lovely stream that is worth checking out. Summer at Sandy Bottom Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's.
