During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Sandy Bottom Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting nobody can resist, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Nezinscot       River - West Branch. A day at gorgeous Auburn Municipal Beach next to Sandy Bottom Pond is a great thing to do, and do go to Mud Pond, it's a stunning lake. Sandy Bottom Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hebron Pines Campground is a great local campground, and let's not forget Meadow Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. Here at Sandy Bottom Pond you can observe Gauthier Hill, and Black Pond is a nearby lake                  that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sandy Bottom Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Martin Stream Campsite is a wonderful spot for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Nezinscot River offers some magnificent whitewater. A large amount of precipitation falls at Sandy Bottom Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
