All through the summer months at Sand Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Sand Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Be careful coming to Sand       Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Halfmoon Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and if you need a location to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a delightful choice. Heath Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and a great nearby hotel is Sanford Inn.
