Why not camp at Big Lake Campground while you're here at Sam Hill Lake; if you've had enough of Sam Hill Lake, Grover Lake is nearby. High temperatures at Sam Hill Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sam Hill Lake. Why not go to close by Chain Lake Stream if you're here at

Clifford Lake
 | 10 miles away Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
