It's always fun to stop by Salt Pond. While you're here at Salt Pond, you could also go to stunning First Pond; Twilite Motel is a great place to get some rest. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the South Face Trail; swamps are interesting sites and Duck Marsh in the neighborhood of Salt Pond is no exception. A great place for whitewater paddling near Salt Pond is Blue Hill Falls, and do pop by Mother Bush Pond, it's a beautiful lake. So many fun things

more than a day at, The Gatherings Family Campground is a great local campground, and a great nearby hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. Hiking along the Old Cove Trail is nice fun. For the period of the warm days of summer
highs here at Salt Pond get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Salt Pond.
