Saint George Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You can take a little trip to Saint George Lake Dam since you're here at Saint George Lake, and a good site to camp here at Saint George Lake is Pine Ridge Campgrounds. During the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Saint George Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Saint George Lake

Whitewater paddling is great on Sheepscot River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Camden. If you need a spot to stay Londonderry Inn is a pleasant choice, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. George River. hiking trail, and camping is available at Cozy Pines Campground. What a site this is for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt, and going for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail is always a nice
adventure. This lake is so wonderful. From Saint George Lake you get a nice view of Coon Mountain, and there are wonderful locations to explore along the Mount Battie Trail. From a precipitation point of view Saint George Lake
is a reasonably common site; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
