Camping is available at Little Black Check Point, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Musquacook Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sag Pond, you'll stumble on Petes Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and you can run the rapids of Big Brook River. Throughout the summer at Sag Pond highs are typically in the       70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Sag Pond. A common amount of rain falls here at Sag Pond; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
